 Here is another stunning piece of art, using scrunched up coloured tissue paper for flowers on a branch. The butterflies just love it.

Making a parachute.

 Today we made a parachute to carry a small ball.

We used an egg carton, string and some bubble wrap. I liked popping the left over bubble wrap.

The parachute floated down when Miss Murphy dropped it from high in the air.

Weaving

Nicole tried on one of Barbs masks, she decided she didn't like the way it smelled.  She thought it looked cool though.

We went shopping for pancake mix.

 

Pancakes

Last week Nicole went to Countdown with Bev and bought some pancake mix.  Back at school they used the hall kitchen to make pancakes.  Nicole enjoyed eating them!

 

Writing

 

Here is some writing Nicole has been doing with Bev on her IPad this term.  Lots of different stories, some are real and some are using her imagination.

Week 10 - This week Nicole and her friend made 'Oobleck'. It was really slimy and gooey! Nicole had lots of fun using the red and blue dye to mix together to make her favourite colour purple. 

Maths and Reading

Today Nicole did some learning with Mrs Poole.  We made patterns with some insects and then Nicole wanted to use the beads to count to 12.  She was able to carry on the pattern Mrs Poole had made with lady bugs and beetles.  We then read a story about bees and made our own bee for the wall.

Yesterday Nicole played Skittles for PMP in the hall. She was able to knock lots of skittles down. 

Movement Activities

Today Nicole did some movement activities in the hall with some Y6 learners and Mrs Harvey.  She went through a series of activities that were set up around the hall.  She had fun being the leader!

Painting

Today Nicole did some painting on the table with Bev.  She made a picture using purple and orange.  She used a rolling sponge to spread the paint. Nicole was making patterns with different colours.
